GMA Summary
This bill creates a new licensing category that allows qualifying small businesses to purchase alcoholic beverages from designated retail dealers for sale or distribution on their premises. A “small business” is defined as one with annual alcoholic beverage sales under $250,000 where those sales account for no more than 25% of total revenue. Eligible businesses must apply for a license, maintain required records, and submit periodic reports to the Georgia Department of Revenue, and may purchase alcoholic beverages only from designated retail dealers for use on the licensed premises.
